About ATS: The WGQ2-630/4P Series

The WGQ2-630/4P Dual Power ATS is a fully new product, the result of two years of research and development by our company’s top engineers, grandly launched at the end of 2014. It completely subverts the traditional dual power ATS design style by adopting the leading international industrial design concept throughout the design process. Comprehensive improvements have been made to the traditional ATS across the product structure, appearance, ergonomics, and control circuit, ensuring it possesses the quality of international first-class products while maintaining a highly competitive price.

The WGQ2-630/4P series intelligent dual power auto transfer switch (briefed as ATS) is suitable for emergency power supply systems with rated AC voltage 400V, 50/60Hz. When one power source faults, it can automatically interchange from the main power to the backup power without the need for manual operation, thereby protecting power supply stability. It is primarily applied to important places which do not allow power cutoff, such as Hospitals, shopping malls, banks, chemical industries, metallurgy, high-rise buildings, and fire-fighting systems.

This product complies with standards including IEC60947-6-1: “Auto transfer switch”, “Civil high building fire-fighting standard,” “High building fire-fighting standard,” and “Civil building electric design standard,” among others.

Product Structure

The WGQ2-630/4P series intelligent ATS comprises two 3P or 4P MCCBs (Molded Case Circuit Breakers) and their accessories (Auxiliary contact, Alarm contact), a mechanical interlocking transmission mechanism, and an intelligent controller.

It offers two structures:

1. Integral Type: The controller and the executive unit are installed on the same base.

2. Split Type: The controller is installed on the panel, and the executive unit is installed on the base inside the panel box, connected by a 2m length signal cable.

WGQ2-630/4P Series Advantages

1. Safety and Interlocking: Features a reliable mechanical interlock device and electric interlock protection between the two MCCBs, completely preventing the possibility of both MCCBs being closed simultaneously

2. Intelligent Control Core: The intelligent controller adopts a Single Chip Microcomputer (SCM) as the control core, resulting in simple hardware, strong functions, easy extension, and high reliability.

3. Enhanced EMI Immunity: The intelligent controller circuit layout design separates power sampling from the SCM control, which overcomes electromagnetic interference at the hardware level.

4. Comprehensive Protection and Monitoring: Equipped with short circuit and overload protection functions (inherent to the CB type), as well as over-voltage, under-voltage, phase missing auto transfer function, and intelligent alarm features.

5. Customizable Settings: Auto transfer data can be freely set externally, and the unit includes a protection function for the operation motor.

6. High-Quality Signal Transmission: The signal connecting cable has passed instrument channel tests, showing strong anti-near crosstalk, anti-attenuation crosstalk, and low back wave loss, meeting the test criteria for permanent links.

7. Installation Flexibility: The ATS controller installation method provides customers with high autonomy; the split installation only requires simply connecting the attached RJ45 signal cable to the corresponding terminal port.
